Ann was admitted in 1992 and has been working in the legal arena for over 20 years. Ann has acted for many clients seeking compensation for injuries received in motor accidents, at work or in public places. She has also acted for many clients seeking compensation in medical negligence and product liability claims. Ann’s specialises in brain injury, psychological injury, spinal cord damage and severe orthopaedic injuries. Ann has assisted many claimants, both adults and infants, who have suffered severe brain injuries, psychological injuries and orthopaedic injuries to realise their full compensation entitlements. Her familiarity with the complicated methods of assessing damages for those claims under different legislations has assisted her clients greatly in achieving early settlements.

Prior to joining Owen Hodge Lawyers in 1998 Ann worked exclusively in the personal injury litigation section for two large city firms. Ann was an associate to a major suburban firm working in the areas of personal injury litigation and commercial and employment law. Ann is dedicated to providing her clients with quality legal advice and obtaining the best result available within the law. In 1996 Ann became an Accredited Specialist in personal injury litigation and in 2001 became a Senior Associate of Owen Hodge Lawyers. In 2003 Ann became a Special Counsel.

Ann has acted for many clients relating to all types of employment law disputes and assisted numerous employers to avoid costly litigation by providing them with prompt advice, proper contracts of employment, policies and procedures in dealing with workplace disputes.

Ann’s extensive knowledge of personal injury and employment law along with her exceptional organisational skills has ensured that quality service is provided to her clients. In addition to speaking English, she is also fluent in Vietnamese and Cantonese.

Ann is one of very few solicitors that have practiced in both personal injury and employment law which are vast, complex and have been changed more frequently than any other area of law.
