Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, not admitted in AustraliaGandhi started off practice in a leading full service law firm in Singapore in June 2001, specialising in building & construction and commercial dispute matters. He has, however, handled the full spectrum of contentious matters in both the superior and subordinate Courts as well as before Arbitration Tribunals, including construction, company, contract, negligence, defamation, intellectual property, strata title, family and probate matters. To broaden his experience, he joined the central bank in Singapore in November 2006 as Senior Legal Counsel, eventually rising to the position of Assistant General Counsel in June 2009. During his time with the central bank, besides advising on regulatory and policy issues concerning banks and insurance companies, Gandhi had the lead responsibility for all contract and procurement related matters. Gandhi moved to Perth in late 2009 with his family in search of fresh challenges and is currently preparing to get admitted to practice in Western Australia in January 2011.
