Joanne Kinslor is a specialist immigration lawyer who has extensive experience and exceptional knowledge of immigration law. Her clients appreciate her dedication to solving complex immigration problems and winning difficult cases.

Joanne has been accredited as an immigration specialist by the Law Society of New South Wales since 2006. There are fewer than 30 accredited immigration solicitors in New South Wales.

Joanne is Course Convenor and Principal Lecturer of u201cAustralian Immigration Law and Practiceu201d at the University of New South Wales as part of the universityu2019s law degree programme.

Joanne has also lectured for the Australian National University Graduate Certificate of Migration Law and Practice course and she presents lectures on immigration law subjects for the legal profession.

Joanne is past President of the Management Committee of the Refugee Advice and Case Service (), a legal centre which provides pro bono advice and assistance to asylum seekers in Australia.

She has published articles addressing immigration, and human rights law issues in Australia in the Australian Journal of Human Rights, Law Society Journal of New South Wales and Immigration Review. For several years Joanne was a Member of the Human Rights Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales.

Joanne is an active member of the Law Council of Australiau2019s Immigration Working Group. Through the Law Council, she participates in national debate on immigration law and policy and contributes to Parliamentary submissions.

Joanne was recognised in the Australian Financial Review in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 as one Australiau2019s finest immigration lawyers through inclusion in.

Joanne graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons).
