  • Leading a $12m restructure for an integrated corporate group in the industrial; tourism; and property sectors including debt restructuring of non-performing entities and all associated taxation advice.
  • Acting for a mining corporation in the acquisition of an ASX listed company through a Deed of Company Arrangement to successfully obtain a back door listing.
  • Successfully acting for a non-resident to dispute payment of a $4m tax debt.
  • Successfully acting for agricultural company to dispute payment of a multi-million dollar tax debt.
  • Advising a number of off shore trusts and companies with respect to the taxation elements of restructuring as resident Australian entities.
  • Reconstructing financially distressed companies in a range of industries (including food, agricultural, mining services, industrial and building products) to minimise future exposure and return to profit via capital injection or organic growth.
  • Acting for a property syndicate in the distressed takeover of a large tourism resort.
